I am a tenured faculty in Management Information Systems at Iowa State University, Ames. I am also the Chair of the department of Supply Chain and Information Systems in the College of Business. My career path is not much different from many others. I started as a Mechanical Engineer for a large public sector manufacturer, left that to obtain an MBA in Finance and Accounting. My life long passion to learn computers led me to a PhD in MIS. Though I never imagined I would ever enter the teaching profession that is where I am. During this journey I have ventured into the exciting domain of entrepreneurship – started and folded at least four companies in varied sectors ranging from food service to IT software and service! One thing I have learned is, “If you stop talking you can listen!“
